My name is Tanja Elo. I`m 37 years old and I am working as a nurse. I live in Ylämylly, 13 kilometers from nearest city, Joensuu. In my family there are my husband, Olli-Pekka  and my 15 years old son, Otto.

I have always loved dogs. When I was kid we had a german shepherd ja a mixed-breed. After they died I decided to have my own dog someday. And when I moved out home, first thing I got to get my new home was a German shepherd called Laika. Since then I`ve always had dogs. Now I have two german shepherds, Kreislauf Goa, aka Penni and Kreislauf Enzo, aka Enzo. We used to participate  shows but nowadays our main hobby is protection. We also have my husbands dear friend and hunting buddy, finnis hound dog Arttu.

In year 1998 my sister ( Sinisilkin kennel ) visited us with Tiina Närhi ( Kennel Afires ) and little black americancockerspaniel puppy boy. That was the first time I met that breed. That wild puppy melted my heart and little bit later we had our own americancockerspaniel named Afires Steal The Show, Eetu. Later Eetu finished his Fin Champion-title and he also got LtuJw-00 and Est Ch titles. After that went many years without shows.

Until year 2005 Afires All Star ( Mio ) moved to our home. Mio`s showcareer ended soon because his teeth is wrong position. So I still had no dog for shows. After that number of our americancockerspaniels has increased.


At this moment we have five americancockerspaniels bringing joy to our live. With Mio and Eetu we have FinJW-06 Afires Inez In Trouble, aka Inez and Est, Lv, Ltu, BaltJCh, BaltJW-07 Afires Cover To Win, aka Totti.  Last newcomer is beautiful black princess from Norway, Statesman You Got It, aka Maya.  Eetu have continue his showcareer in veteran class very succesfully. Nowadays shows and grooming is my main free-time hobby.

I wouldn`t have this hobby without good dogs and good friends. I would like to thank Tiina Närhi, Kennel Afires, www.afires.com Satu and Sami Baggström, Kennel Kreislauf www.kennelkreislauf.com and Vibeke Paulsen Kennel Statesman www.statesman.no, for these magnificent dogs.
