Hi, my name is Tanja Elo and I am living in Ylämylly, near Joensuu in Eastern Finland. I have been involved in dogs my whole life and I have had few different breeds at home, but my journey with American cockers started in 1998 when I got my very first American cocker, Int Ch. Afire’s Steal The Show “Eetu”. I started to show him and since then I have been showing my American cockers very actively in Finland and also abroad.
During the years I became more interested about this charming breed and I was thinking about breeding for a long time. Finally in the spring 2010 I felt like it was right time for my very first litter. It was sired by Int & Multi Ch. Very Vigie Vamos A La Playa out of my own bitch FinJW-06 Afire’s Inez In Trouble. Since then I have bred 11 litters and I am very proud of them as they are all living in loving homes and they have achieved super results as well.
At the moment from my breedings 26 dogs are champions and 11 of them are also international champions. Many different Fabelsfee dogs have been winning GROUP- and BIS- WINS/PLACEMENTS. They have also achieved high placements at Finnish ACK’s ”Showcocker of the Year” -competitions during last years. We have been showing our breeders group and Kennel Fabelsfee was #1 Breeder of The Year 2013 in Finland! After that we weren’t showing our group so actively but still Fabelsfee was #9 Breeder of The Year 2014 and #10 Breeder of The Year 2015 in Finland. Our group was also #2 Breeders group from FCI 8 during the year 2014 and #3 Breeders group from FCI 8 during the year 2015 in Finland.
Fabelsfee dogs aren’t only active in the show rings, we have few dogs who are competing actively in agility, training obedience and doing bloodtracking as well. One of our agility dogs was representing Finland with his young owner at Junior European Open 2015 – competition in Czech Republic. One Fabelsfee dog is a double champion – show champion and tracking champion! Thank you all owners of Fabelsfee dogs, you all are doing wonderful work and without you these achievements would not be possible!
All of my dogs are living as a part of our family and we have puppies only occasionally. My main goal as a breeder is to breed beautiful American cockers, who are healthy and having typical outgoing temperament. For me is also very important to find good homes for my puppies and I am so thankful to all of my puppy owners for offering the best possible homes!
